Virginia Commonwealth University and George Mason are the state’s largest colleges. In anticipation of the men’s basketball match-up on February 9th, the two schools are engaging in a little friendly competition to see who can net the most new fans for their respective facebook pages.

So what should you do? Show your Patriot Pride by becoming a fan of your alma mater on Facebook. And just to sweeten the deal, you can win four premium tickets to the men’s basketball Homecoming game [2]on February 20.
Between now and February 9, the school that adds the most new fans on Facebook wins bragging rights and a glorious Facebook Fan trophy, which will be presented to the winning school at halftime during the Mason-VCU men’s basketball game on February 9 at the Patriot Center.

When you become a fan of Mason, or if you already are, you can also enter to win four premium seats at the Homecoming game. To enter for free Homecoming tickets, follow these easy steps:
1. Become a fan of George Mason University at www.facebook.com/georgemason [4]. You may have to log in to your facebook account if you haven’t already done so.
2. Write on our wall the answer to this question: What is your favorite George Mason University tradition?
All fans of Mason who write their answer to that question on our wall between now and February 9 at 12:00 noon will be entered in a random drawing to win the tickets. The winner will be notified via Facebook by February 15.
