We launched the Sweetheart 16 contest [1] a little more than a week ago and the stories have just poured in. From dates in The Ordinary (Mason’s original cafeteria) to road trips during the Final Four run, we’ve been thrilled with the response so far.
But we’re still looking for more! You need not have met at Mason but you should be able to tell us why you and your honey hold Mason so dear. The deadline is December 3, so be sure to enter [4] by then. And the competition is stiff, so really wow us with photos and videos. Information on how to submit those can be found on our online entry form. [4]
[5]And lest we forget what this contest is really about, here’s a sampling of the amazing prizes [6] we’ve put together:
- A two-night stay at the Mason Inn Conference Center and Hotel [7] during Homecoming Weekend (check-in Friday, February 4 and check-out Sunday, February 6), along with breakfast and a fairy-tale dinner for two. A romantic welcome package will greet you, including chocolate-covered strawberries and a sparkling beverage, all compliments of the Mason Inn.
- Two premium tickets to the men’s basketball game on Saturday, February 5 at the Patriot Center on Homecoming Weekend, provided by Mason Athletics [8]. Tip-off is 2 p.m. versus CAA rival Old Dominion University.
