My Dream of Stars: From Daughter of Iran to Space Pioneer tells the story of space pioneer Anousheh Ansari’s childhood in Iran and her family’s move to the United States after the Islamic Revolution in 1984. Ansari built the $750 million computer technology firm Telecom Technologies from the ground up, which ultimately allowed her to achieve her childhood dream of space travel. As the first female commercial spaceflight participant, Ansari faced prejudices and obstacles.

Ansari lives in Dallas, Texas.
