Charlotte
Wilson, M.Ed. Secondary Education '83, retired
from teaching middle school art for 32 years in Prince William County,
Va., and will be moving to Delaware.
Sheryl K. Walters,
B.S. Physical Education '87, married George F. Hellmulth and they have
two daughters, ages 5 and 2.
1990s
Stuart Markowitz,
M.Ed. Administration and Supervision '90, is an educational technologist
and computer trainer at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School in Maryland.
L. Gregory Drescher,
M.Ed. Administration and Supervision '91, is the principal at Hilda J.
Barbour Elementary School. Greg and his school were honored at the Warren
County Schools preschool conference for significantly raising student
achievement.
Sandra Droege,
M.Ed. Technology '93, established a nonprofit organization called Computer
Literacy for Kids, which provides refurbished computers to needy children
living in a five-county area on Maryland's eastern shore.
Jason Stang,
B.S. Physical Education '96, married Lauren (Jagiello) Stang on October
9, 1999.
Mary K. Wharton,
M.Ed. Instructional Technology '96, recently won the coveted Century 21
Centurion Prize for her sales performance in 1999. She was elected to
serve on the company-wide President's Council. Her company, Century 21
New Millennium, is now one of the 10 largest Century 21 firms in North
America.
Deborah Jones Hobson,
M.Ed. Curriculum and Instruction '97, is an academic advisor for the B.I.S.
degree program in the New Century College at George Mason. She and her
husband, Christopher, have a baby girl, Caroline Rose, born on February
18, 1999.
Maureen (Daily)
Schilpp, M.Ed. Curriculum and Instruction '97, married Craig Schilpp
on October 23, 1999. They live in Manassas, Va., and Maureen teaches second
grade at Weems Elementary.
