1970s

Shirley (Dunn) DeWitt, B.I.S. '79 and M.S. Spanish '81, married Clayton DeWitt in 1982 and moved to Rockford, Ill., in 1988. Shirley has five grandchildren and enjoys traveling to the UK every other year for her Sherlock Holmes Study Group.

1990s

Kathleen Babb-Hutcheson, B.I.S. '91, has two children, Katherine Mallory (3) and Alexander Devon (1).

Mark P. Harrington, B.I.S. '97, was honored as Virginia's "Top Cop" by the governor and General Assembly. Dr. David Bever of George Mason was one of the architects of the Top Cop Fitness Challenge, in which law enforcement personnel from across the state compete at five different universities to determine the "Top Cop" in the state.
