1970s

Michael M. Mannix, J.D. '78, joined the firm of Kilpatrick Stockton L.L.P. as a partner to the firm's expanding technology practice in Northern Virginia.

1980s

Daniel S. Fiore, J.D. '81, was sworn in as a substitute judge for the General District Court in Arlington County on August 30, 2000. He is a past president of the Arlington County Bar Association and has been practicing law in the Washington metropolitan area for the past 20 years.

1990s

John David Purdy, B.S. Administration of Justice '97, received a J.D. degree from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University at commencement ceremonies on May 26, 2000.

Heather James-Lauder, B.A. English '95 and J.D. '99, has become associated with the law firm of Albo & Oblon, L.L.P. and practices employment litigation from the firm's Arlington office.

Lawrence P. Vance, J.D. '99, has opened the law offices of Lawrence P. Vance, P.C., a general practice firm focusing on criminal and domestic relations practice.
