License Plates Fund Scholarships
George Mason participates in a Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles program that generates scholarship funds for the university. Each time a Virginia license plate featuring the George Mason University seal is purchased, a portion of the proceeds goes to the university for scholarships. Since the program began in 1998, George Mason has received approximately $7,500.
