David Fine, B.A. Business Administration '74, was promoted to regional sales manager by Smart America, a worldwide provider of structured wire and home automation products for Smart Home Technology.

1980s

Theresa Sutherland Shaw, B.S. Business Administration '80, has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer of e-Numerate Solutions Inc. The Northern Virginia-based company produces software and tools to support the creation of a "Numbers Web" on the Internet.

Brian Methvin, B.S. Accounting '82, is president and chief executive of Digital Creations, a Fredericksburg, Va., web-services company that helps clients manage flow of information to their web sites.

Gregory L. Fletcher, M.B.A. '83, is director of financial accounting and reporting for the Association for Financial Professionals in Bethesda, Md.

Sandy (Lutkenhouse) Latta, B.S. Business Administration '87, earned an M.S. in Business/Contract Management from the Florida Institute of Technology. She and husband Neal have two children, Emily (2), and Jake (6 months).

Marcy Denmark Manning, M.B.A. '88, had her book, Boot Camp for Your Brain: A No-Nonsense Guide to the SAT I, published by Xlibris Corp. Manning is president and author of The World's Best Prep Course for the SAT I, a company she started in 1989.

1990s

Patrick Rice, M.B.A. '92, practices law with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom LLP in New York City, concentrating in the area of mergers and acquisitions and securities law. He and his wife, Cathy Ann, and three children (Caleigh, Patrick, and Megan) live in New Jersey.

Joseph P. Garvie, M.B.A. '93, married Catherine Leigh LeNoir of Montgomery, Ala., on May 19, 2001, in Fort Walton Beach, Fla.

Christopher Mande, M.B.A. '94, was appointed assistant vice president, Enterprise Risk Management at USAA in San Antonio, Texas.

Kristina E. Kennedy, B.S. Management '95, was named senior supervisor and oversees approximately 40 customer service representatives in her newly enlarged department at Corporate Express in Elkridge, Md.

Jody Barefoot Ralston, B.S. Accounting '96, married Mark Ralston on May 5, 2001. She is a certified public accountant with High Purity Systems Inc.

Patricia A. Buss, M.B.A. '99, moved to Okinawa, Japan, to serve as executive officer at the U.S. Naval Hospital, the largest military hospital in the western Pacific.

Tabitha E.L. Stone, B.A. Accounting '99, has married and works as a bookkeeper for Chester Mailing List Consultants Inc. in Fairfax, Va.

Michelle Suarez, B.S. Decision Sciences '99, an Internet coordinator for Screenprinting and Graphic Imaging Association International in Fairfax, Va., was married on September 1, 2001.

Stefany Wilson, B.S. Decision Sciences '99, is a programmer/analyst and a cheerleader for the NFL's Baltimore Ravens.
