1980s
Adella B. Kanagy, M.A.I.S. Gerontology '87, received a Culture for Service
Award in 1999 from Goshen College, Goshen, Ind.
Jeannette K. (Saunders) Jones, B.I.S. '88, married in 1999 and had a
son, Joshua, in July 2000. She completed her doctorate in instructional technology
and distance education from NOVA Southeastern University in October 2000.
1990s
Pamela E. Carter, B.I.S. Applied Business Communications '92, earned
an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland in 1994 and a Ph.D. from Florida State
University in 2000.
Anna Louise Pearman, M.A.I.S. '97, recently moved from Fairfax, Va.,
to Santa Barbara County, Calif., where she is an associate professor of fine arts
at Allan Hancock College. She earned a professional certificate in stone carving
and restoration, and is developing an interdisciplinary curriculum for learners
seeking internships with restoration firms and/or transferring into the School
of Architecture at California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. She also
is working on her private pilot's license.
