Innovation Hall's Innovations

Innovation Hall, the new $20 million building on campus, holds exciting prospects for students and faculty alike. With its 140-seat computer lab, gigantic lecture halls, and computer-friendly classrooms, the building reinforces George Mason's reputation for being technologically advanced.

The 100,000-square-foot building, nestled between College Hall and Enterprise Hall, stands at the cutting edge of technology. The facility features 12 computer classrooms, 150- and 300-seat lecture halls with dual rear screen projection and wireless capability, several videoconferencing rooms, and a classroom with geographic information system software. The classrooms incorporate sound systems, video players, digital projectors, Internet connection for laptops, and touch-screen computers in podiums.

Classrooms account for 90 percent of the building; the remaining space is dedicated to offices and administrative support.
