Alumnus Is New Chair of Foundation Board

Michael Anzilotti, MBA ’83 and LHD (Hon.) ’03, president of Virginia Commerce Bancorp Inc., is the new chair of the George Mason University Foundation Board of Trustees. Anzilotti is the second alumnus to serve in this capacity; Lovey Hammel, BS Marketing ’88, president of Temporary Solutions Inc., led the board from 2001 to 2003.
The Mason Foundation generates, manages, invests, and administers private support on behalf of the university. In addition to Anzilotti, alumni serving on the board are
