Mason Alumni Day at the Zoo
On Sunday, June 30, 2002, the Alumni Association will sponsor Alumni Day at the National Zoo. The day will include an exclusive picnic for George Mason alumni in Gorilla Grove at 2 p.m., free time to walk around the zoo, and a private demonstration and tour of the Think Tank led by Mason alumnus and assistant research professor Robert Shumaker at 5:30 p.m. Tickets will only be sold through the Alumni Affairs Office and are limited in number. The Law Alumni Chapter will sponsor its fifth annual Judicial and Legislative Reception at the Law School in Arlington, Va., on May 29, 2002. The event honors distinguished judges and legislators, both state and federal, in the Washington metropolitan area. On June 4, a Richmond-area alumni reception will be held in conjunction with the Virginia Bar Association's Swearing-in Ceremony. The MASONline alumni directory is coming soon! Now in the final testing stage, this online tool will allow you to search for classmates and update your contact information with a click of the mouse. MASONline will soon be accessible via the alumni web site at www.gmu.edu/alumni.
