Dear Alumni:

Greetings once again! As this past year has flown by, your Alumni Association has continued to flourish. We recently hosted our annual Celebration of Distinction, where we presented awards and scholarships to outstanding alumni, faculty, and students. The quality of those nominated and selected has never been better. The simple truth is that Mason alumni are now among the business and professional elite in this area and around the world.

We are proud to announce the formation and recognition of another new chapter! The Black Alumni Chapter is our latest and greatest addition to the alumni family. The chapter is off and running, planning events and looking for active members.

It's an exciting time at Mason, and we would like you to get involved. It's easy and fun—all you have to do is visit the Alumni Affairs web site and update your information through the online directory. Once we receive your e-mail address, we can send you the MasonWire monthly e-newsletter, keeping you informed of breaking news and events so you can attend and participate in the opportunities of interest to you.

I look forward to the second year of my term as your president. As always, we will strive to make the association more productive and prosperous than ever.
