Business Administration '75, works for APS Generation as a communication consultant in Phoenix, Ariz., and is responsible for public information and education at the largest nuclear power plant in the United States. 1980s Martin R. Johnson, B.S. Accounting '82 and M.B.A. '93, has worked for British Aerospace for more than 11 years and is the director of commercial contracts. He married Jenny Wodinsky in May 1999 at Cline Cellars Winery in Sonoma, Calif., and they reside in Vienna, Va. Sandra (Lutkenhouse) Latta, B.S. Management '87, married Neal Latta in March 1998 and had a baby girl on June 24, 1999. Sandy and Neal both work for the Immigration and Naturalization Service. Janice Smith, B.S. Marketing '87, is a customer service team leader for Ford Motor Credit Co. in Austin, Tex. Michael Olsen, B.S. Decision Science '89, is a partner and chief operating officer of a small information technology start-up based in Springfield, Va. He is completing a master's degree in management information systems at Virginia Tech this year. 1990s Kenneth Hamner, B.S. Accounting and Finance '90, served as chief financial officer and senior vice president of Caribbean Pacific for three years and then returned to school at Florida State to pursue a law degree and an M.B.A. He has been elected to the Board of Directors by the shareholders of Caribbean Pacific International. Marinda P. Wong, B.S. Management Information Systems '91, is pursuing an M.B.A. at Virginia Tech in Northern Virginia. Steven R. Piper, B.S. Management '92 and M.B.A. '94, was married in 1998 and moved to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., where he is senior product manager for Citrix Systems. Thomas C. Pedagno, M.S. Information Systems '93, was assigned as commanding officer, electronics systems support unit in the U.S. Coast Guard at Kodiak, Alaska. Bich Melanie Tran-Hong, B.S. Finance and Management Information Systems '94, is a market research analyst in Rockville, Md., for Thomson Financial Company. She was quoted in the August 24, 1999, Wall Street Journal and August 25, 1999, New York Times on an advisory report she wrote on the financial impacts of the battle merger between two French oil companies, Elf Aquitaine and TotalFina. Mel Aclaro, M.B.A. '95, has changed jobs, moved, and is starting a consulting business. He now lives in Los Angeles, Calif., and is director of training for Keane CRM Solutions. Haytham Ali, M.S. Information Systems '96, and his wife were blessed with a baby boy, Ahmed H. Ali, born May 24, 1999. Robert Collette, B.S. Accounting '96, received his CPA in 1997 and an M.P.A. from Troy State in 1999. Michael Sergeev, B.S. Finance '97, received an M.B.A. from The Darden School at the University of Virginia on May 23, 1999.
