1970s

Peggy A. Miller, B.S. Education '72, is a retired Loudoun County teacher living in Purcellville, Va.

1980s

Frances (Francie) Burns Dailey, B.S. Early Childhood Education '86, was widowed while still a student at Mason in 1984 and remarried in 1987 to the Reverend John C. Dailey. She was ordained an Elder in the East Ohio Conference United Methodist Church in 1993, and in 1995, son Micha Benjamin Dailey was born. John Michalenko, M.Ed. Counseling and Development '87, was named dean of students and career services at Robert Morris College, Pittsburgh, Pa.

1990s

Elizabeth S. Buchanan, M.Ed. Administration and Supervision '90, retired from teaching at South Lakes High School, Reston, Va., enjoyed six months of educational consulting work, and is now assistant principal at Tabernacle Elementary School in Asheboro, N.C.

Paul Adams, B.S. Education '92, is a physical education teacher in the Arlington County School system, Arlington, Va.

Cicero M. Fain III, M.A. Secondary Education '93, has been awarded the Carter G. Woodson Fellowship by Marshall University to pursue a Ph.D. in African American History from Ohio State University starting in the fall of 2000. Deirdre Anne Sexton, M.Ed. Curriculum and Instruction '93, is teaching algebra at Maimonides in Los Angeles, Calif.

Merton L. Bland, M.A. Linguistics '95, is an ESL teacher in Fairfax County Adult Education and has trained TESOL teachers in the former East Germany, China, Malaysia, Korea, and Vietnam. He completed a graduate certificate in TESOL in 1993.

Jacqueline Del Giorno, M.Ed. Curriculum and Instruction '96, works at Chantilly High School, Fairfax County Public Schools, Va., in the LD department, after six years as an LD teacher with Manassas Park City Schools.

Jennifer diBella, M.Ed. Curriculum and Instruction �97, returned home in mid-September after serving for two years in St. Vincent and the Grenadines as a Peace Corps volunteer. She served as preschool teacher trainer with St. Vincent Save the Children Fund where she taught English, math, special education, and creative arts to preschool teachers.
