1970s

Patricia Stubbing, B.S. '75 and M.Ed. Counseling and Development '83, has been appointed to four community boards: Community Outreach Partnership Center, a neighborhood revitalization HUD grant shared by Duke University and University of North Carolina; Duke/Durham Partnership for Youth; Southwest Central Durham Neighborhood Council (elected facilitator); and Partners Against Crime (Durham Police Department). Her career counseling/coaching/consulting business continues to do well.

1980s

Sharon Parker, B.S. '84, and husband, John, announce the birth of their daughter, Maria Elizabeth, on August 21, 1998.
