INDIVIDUALIZED STUDIES

1970s

William J. Sloan, Jr., B.I.S. '78, is a major in the U.S. Air Force Reserve and an elementary special education teacher for Prince William County (Va.) Public Schools, and is completing his graduate studies in special education at George Mason. He and his wife have two daughters and two grandchildren.

1980s

Luellen (Maskeny) Hoffman, B.I.S. '87, graduated with honors from the George Washington University School of Business and Public Management and was one of the commencement speakers.

Cathy A. Dahl, B.I.S. '89, moved back to Pennsylvania in 1991 after the birth of her son, Chase Hunter Moore. She enjoys travel and lived in Amsterdam, Holland, during the summer of 1997.

1990s

Barbara Heiberg, B.I.S. '90 and M.A.I.S. '96, created, developed, and activated her business, Enriched Aging, in 1997 at the age of 69. She is a consultant and speaker on the positive aspects of retirement and aging�socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Benjamin D. Cromer, B.I.S. '94 and M.A. Telecom- munications '96, is an adjunct assistant professor of music at Northern Virginia Community College, Loudoun Campus.
