Six Degrees of Kim Kardashian?

By Leah Kerkman Fogarty on June 3, 2010

So I guess this is cool… Kim Kardashian name-checked a Masonalum recently in People magazine.

When asked for a book recommendation, Kardashian picked a book edited by Luellen Hoffman, BIS ’87 and former lecturer in Mason’sCollege of Education and Human Development.

The book is Special Dream: Personal Accounts After the Death of a Loved One, Second Edition (Crossroad, an imprint of The Crossroad Publishing Company, October 2009), described as:

“a compassionate and touching compendium of dozens of stories from those who have been touched by the afterlife. Collecting intimate memories from mourners who have each experienced a special dream—a dream where a deceased loved one appears to inform the mourner of his or her passing or to say goodbye—Hoffman offers a sympathetic tome for anyone who has lost a relative or close friend.”
