In November, we asked you to tell us how you met your sweetheart—and what part Mason has played in your union. We got an amazing response. We loved reading your stories and hearing about your fond Mason memories. It took some time, but we narrowed the pool down to 16 couples: our Sweetheart 16.

Now it’s time to vote for your favorite couple. Read the profiles we’ve written and be sure to vote every 24 hours. Our 16 couples are from all walks of life, from all over the country, and from all different backgrounds. The one common thread? Their love for each other and for their alma mater.

And while we all love telling our “how we met” stories, let’s keep in mind the winning couple will receive a “sweet” package to Mason’s 2011 Homecoming. Two nights’ at the Mason Inn, an all-access pass to the Mason Alumni Association events (see here for alumni events and here for a full schedule of all Homecoming events), plus primo seats to the men’s basketball game on Saturday, thanks to Mason Athletics.
