Armed with maps, contact lists, and tons of Mason spirit, a busload of students, faculty, staff, and alumni descended on the Virginia State Capitol in Richmond on February 7 to meet with Virginia legislators. The group of approximately 80 Mason representatives shared the story of the university and expressed gratitude to the legislators for all the work they do.

If you drive behind the intramural fields on Mason’s Fairfax Campus, you may notice a fenced-in grassy area with numerous big black tubs planted with various kinds of wetland vegetation. The scientific experiments being done in this outdoor facility are the products of Mason ecological engineer Changwoo Ahn and his students.

Learning in a Flash
