1970s

L. James D'Agostino, J.D. '79, has joined the Government Contracts and Export Compliance group in Reed Smith Shaw & McClay's McLean, Va., office.

1980s

Charles H. Nance, J.D. '82, joined the law firm of Sands Anderson Marks & Miller in the firm's estate and tax planning practice group.

Walter A. Wilson, III, J.D. '82, was appointed as division manager for Asset Preservation, Inc., and will perform API duties along with his current duties as associate state counsel for Stewart Title Guaranty Company.

1990s

Kimberly Masters Gaines, J.D. '94, and her husband, Josh, have moved to Colorado, where he is vice president and general counsel of American Medical Response, Inc. They had a baby boy, Ethan Sanford, on September 4, 1997.

Karl W. Abendschein, J.D. '96, has joined the Washington, D.C., office of the international law firm of Fulbright & Jaworski, L.L.P. As a staff attorney, he continues to focus his practice on international matters.

Sally Walker Rhee, J.D. '96, is living in Tokyo, Japan, where her husband is working at the U.S. Embassy. She is staying home full time with her son, Andrew Kamman Rhee, who was born April 7, 1997.

Brian L. Longest, B.S. Computer Science '94 and J.D. '97, announces the formation of the intellectual property firm Longest.com Law Office, P.L.L.C. A technology legal consultant, he holds a computer science degree and focuses on all aspects of intellectual property with regard to software and computers. His business is located in Vienna, Va.
